In this vital role, you will ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. Your leadership will foster a positive atmosphere that promotes childhood development, supports staff excellence, and maintains compliance with all licensing and safety standards. As the cornerstone of our center's success, you will inspire a team committed to delivering exceptional care and early childhood education. Duties Manage daily center operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all programs Lead, supervise, and support childcare staff, including teachers, caregivers, and support personnel Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards Oversee classroom management to promote positive behavior, social skills, and developmental milestones Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication and parent engagement Coordinate staff training on topics such as special education needs, working with children with disabilities, behavior management, and caregiving best practices Maintain accurate records related to child progress, attendance, incident reports, and licensing documentation Promote a welcoming environment that encourages learning through play and exploration for children of all abilities Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Strong classroom experience managing infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with diverse needs Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of care and safety Excellent communication skills for engaging with families, staff, and licensing authorities Experience in classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and social-emotional growth Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a dynamic environment Join us as a Childcare Director to make a meaningful impact on young lives!
