Position Overview:

As the St. Cecilia Preschool Wraparound Childcare Director, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and enriching environment for the preschool aged children. You will be responsible for supervising childcare staff, preschool-age children, planning and implementing activities, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom area. The position is currently a school year position, but we would be open to a summer program in the potential future.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise preschool age children in a caring and attentive manner, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and prepare engaging activities and games that promote social, emotional, and intellectual development. Clean and sanitize classroom areas and toys regularly to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Set up and clean up activities and ensure materials are stored properly after use. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and school administration regarding program activities and children's progress. Complete the paperwork necessary to keep the program licensed by the State of Iowa.
