Job Description

Overview Welcome to Strive Academy, the only preschool in the Treasure Valley serving whole and organic foods! We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Team Leader specializing in 3's thru Pre-K classes to join our dynamic early childhood education team. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee classroom operations, foster a nurturing environment, and support the development of our youngest learners. Your expertise in childhood development, classroom management, and working with children with diverse needs will ensure that each child receives high-quality care and education. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team of educators while making a meaningful impact on children's early learning journeys. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of early childhood educators, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and educational quality for infants and toddlers Foster a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and social-emotional growth Mentor staff in classroom management, behavior guidance, and individualized care strategies for children with special needs or disabilities Ensure adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations, including first aid protocols and emergency procedures Collaborate with families to provide updates on their child's development, address concerns, and promote active family engagement in learning Experience Proven experience working with 3 to 6 year olds in a daycare or preschool setting Strong background in childhood development theories and practices specific to early years education Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and support a team of educators Knowledge of special education strategies and working effectively with children with disabilities or developmental delays Certification or training in first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures is highly preferred Experience in behavior management techniques suitable for young children Benefits Accruing PTO Paid day off on your birthday Paid maternity leave Youngest child free, 2nd child discounted 50% Gym membership reimbursement Athletic Event (5k's etc) reimbursement twice per year Free meals (no processed foods!) Pay:
$17.00 - $19.50 per hour
