The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education administration, higher education teaching, and a passion for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community, and a commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences. Responsibilities Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children. Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional growth. Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for child care facilities. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Organize staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops to promote continuous improvement in teaching practices. Collaborate with community organizations to foster partnerships that benefit children and families. Manage daily operations including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Qualifications Associate's degree or higher, 24 ECE credit hours 5+ years of early childhood or related experience Proven experience in higher education teaching Strong background in education administration with experience working with students of various ages. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff, parents, and community members.
