Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Daycare Center Director - Manager to lead our early childhood education team with enthusiasm and expertise. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and foster a positive, engaging atmosphere for staff and families alike. Your leadership will inspire excellence in childcare, classroom management, and developmental support, making a meaningful difference in young lives. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape early childhood experiences while maintaining high standards of care and education. Duties Manage day-to-day operations of the daycare center, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to licensing requirements Lead and support a team of teachers, caregivers, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional childcare services Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote childhood development, early learning, and social-emotional growth Ensure safety protocols are followed rigorously, including first aid readiness and emergency procedures Oversee enrollment processes, communicate effectively with families, and address their needs with professionalism and care Maintain compliance with state regulations, licensing standards, and health guidelines related to childcare and early childhood education Conduct regular classroom observations to support staff development in areas such as classroom experience, behavior management, and working with children with disabilities or special needs Skills Proven experience in preschool or daycare settings with strong classroom management skills Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Ability to work effectively with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable Excellent leadership skills to motivate staff, foster teamwork, and promote a positive caregiving environment Strong communication skills for engaging with families, staff training, and community outreach Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial for understanding individual child needs Join us in creating a vibrant space where children thrive through nurturing care, innovative teaching, and dedicated leadership.
