Job Description

Job Overview The Office Manager serves as a vital part of the school's ministry, supporting the daily operations of a Christ-centered learning environment for young children. This role is more than administrative—it is an opportunity to minister to students, families, and staff by creating a welcoming, organized, and spiritually nurturing atmosphere. The Office Manager is often the first impression of the school and reflects the love, grace, and excellence of Christ in every interaction. Faith Based Responsibilities Serve as a representative of Christ through words, actions, and attitude Support the spiritual mission of the school in both visible and behind-the-scenes ways Engage in prayerful support for students, families, and staff as appropriate Key Responsibilities Front Office Ministry Foster a warm, peaceful, and welcoming environment for visitors, children and families Serve as the primary point of communication for families Answer phone calls and emails with professionalism and grace Help create a calm, safe, and joyful office environment for young children Administrative Support Manage daily office operations and maintain organized records Oversee student enrollment, attendance, and health documentation Coordinate school calendars, meetings, and events Maintain office supplies and overall organization Family Engagement Build positive relationships with families, offering support and clear communication Assist with admissions and onboarding of new families Communicate school updates, newsletters, and event information Provide a compassionate and helpful presence for parents Financial Stewardship Process tuition payments and maintain accurate financial records Assist with billing, receipts, and reporting Practice integrity and stewardship in handling school finances Support for Staff & Leadership Assist the principal and teachers with administrative needs Coordinate substitute coverage and scheduling support Help with compliance, licensing, and accreditation requirements Support school programs, events, and special activities Spiritual & School Life Support Participate in and support school-wide spiritual initiatives Model Christ-like behavior to studetns, families and staff.
Pay:
$16.50 - $17.75 per hour
