Yorkville Community School District 115 Yorkville District 115 is seeking an Early Childhood Coach for the Early Childhood Program. We are seeking to hire a certified individual who maintains a positive attitude in the work environment, collaborative, models continuous improvement, lifelong learning, data driven, has a strong understanding of the Preschool for All grant, PLC structures, special education, creates positive relationships with staff and goes above and beyond to ensure student success. We are looking for exceptional candidates who will assist our district in becoming exemplar as it relates to seeking and implementing strategies for improving student achievement and growth for all students. This person will work collaboratively in professional learning communities to achieve goals with a common purpose focused on student learning.BRIEF DESCRIPTION / POSITION SUMMARY
Yorkville CUSD has an opening for a full time 1.0 FTE Early Childhood Instructional Coach. This person will create a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment for staff and students. In accordance with the mission, vision and goals of the program and district, successful candidates are able to provide meaningful feedback to staff, parents and administrators and facilitate growth of staff. Prior Early Childhood experience preferred Strong understanding of special education required Essential Performance Responsibilities Serves as a school leader and model of best student-focused early childhood practices. Coordinates and uses effective communication skills with program administrators, teachers, teams and the district administrators and coaches to ensure consistency in coaching practices. Collaborate with cross departments throughout the district including the Student Services, the Multilingual/EL, and the Technology departments to help school teams and teachers have access to the best instructional practices to support all students. Continuously seeks feedback and imbeds into practice to ensure best early childhood practices. Participates in district-wide committees involving curriculum. Confidence and ability to lead meetings and teams. Develops and evaluates early childhood curriculum and assessments consistent with IELDS and PFA requirements. Selects appropriate books, instructional aides, and other supplies and equipment to ensure best practices in the early childhood program. Conducts ongoing staff learning through coaching cycles and through planning meaningful professional development. Strengthens the collaboration process through the PLC process. Demonstrates confidence when collaborating with educators through in-class modeling and co-teaching to drive instructional excellence and student engagement. Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the educational field. Engages in the district data system to record coaching cycles. Additional Duties Performs other related tasks as assigned by the program administrator and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.Note:

Illinois Professional Educator License with Early Childhood (Birth to Grade 3, or Birth to Grade 2) and LBS1 with Pre-K or Early Childhood Special Education approval required Strong understanding of special education required Illinois English Language Learner (ELL) endorsement preferred Prior Early Childhood experience preferred Experience coaching others and/or leading teams preferredStarting Salary:
