This key leadership role combines vision, curriculum oversight, staff development, and operational management to create a nurturing environment where young learners can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. The Preschool Director will inspire and support staff, build strong relationships with families, and ensure excellence in both educational quality and daily operations. We are seeking a passionate leader with strong organizational and communication skills who is committed to early childhood education and Christ-centered leadership. As a faith-based program, we are seeking a committed Christian leader who demonstrates biblical values in both personal and professional life and is willing to uphold the Matthew 18 principle in communication, accountability, and conflict resolution. Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the preschool program Foster a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented work environment for staff Oversee curriculum development to ensure engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with Kentucky educational standards and Christian values Manage daily operations, including budgeting, scheduling, staffing, enrollment, licensing compliance, safety procedures, and STARS quality standards Conduct staff observations, evaluations, coaching, and professional development opportunities Build strong relationships with families through effective communication, family engagement activities, and community events Collaborate with the School Board to develop and implement long-term strategic plans that strengthen, expand, and enhance the overall quality of the preschool program Maintain a positive workplace culture rooted in respect, professionalism, teamwork, and biblical principles Model Christ-centered leadership in all interactions with children, families, staff, and the community Skills & Qualifications Strong leadership and administrative experience in an educational or childcare setting Experience supervising staff and managing classroom operations Thorough understanding of early childhood development and preschool best practices Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community partners Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Classroom experience working directly with young children preferred Committed Christian who supports the mission and values of the school/church Willingness to follow the Matthew 18 principle in communication and conflict resolution Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field Kentucky Director's Credential preferred, or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment Minimum of two years of experience working in a full-time preschool or childcare center CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Ability to pass a background check and TB test Why Join Our Team?
