We support children from infancy through pre-kindergarten with stimulating, age-appropriate learning experiences. Our goal is to create a warm, family-like atmosphere where children feel secure, valued, and inspired to grow. We are seeking a passionate, organized, and hands-on Director to join our leadership team and help support our staff, families, and growing school community. Key Responsibilities Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the center Supporting classrooms and stepping in as needed Supervising and mentoring teachers, assistant teachers, and aides Conducting monthly classroom and staff observations Participating in hiring, onboarding, and training new staff Supporting compliance with EEC (Department of Early Education and Care) regulations Coordinating staff schedules and managing time-off requests Assisting in curriculum review and classroom improvements Meeting with families regarding child development, behavior, or center policies Organizing and supporting center events and family engagement activities Responding to emergencies and arranging medical attention according to EEC guidelines Maintaining a caring, professional, and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff Assisting with administrative tasks, documentation, and licensing requirements Qualifications EEC Director Certification required Previous leadership experience in an early childhood setting preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Passion for working with young children in a nurturing and educational setting Ability to lift and care for children up to 50 pounds Fluent in English Intermediate/Fluent in Spanish (preferred but not required)
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
