We believe that children learn best when they are surrounded by individuals who genuinely care, and we aspire to be such individuals…each and every day! We are in need of a Center Director that is interested in helping inspire not only children but educators. We are looking for a Leader that can ensure the health and safety of the children and manage the day- to- day operations of all programs in the center. This position would require the candidate to have the ability of a flexible schedule as hours will vary. It would require the responsibilities of opening and/or closing the center. We are eager to find others, who love children, and put them first. The center is opened from 7-5pm. Must be certified in all age groups: Infant, Toddler and Preschool Lead Teacher certified and Director II certification are required. This position requires the knowledge of The Reggio Emilia Approach to learning. This candidate needs to believe in LTA's vision and philosophy and be willing to continue our traditions of a child led environment. The candidate would be required to continue to build and inspire our current team of educators, while hiring additional educators to join our team. We are looking for a candidate that is extremely organized, has a keen attention to detail, ensures compliance with all DEEC regulations. You will be responsible for classroom observations, overlooking curriculum development, handling all enrollment inquiries, conducting tours of new families and onboarding new families and educators to name a few.
