New Early Learning Center Location:
Winthrop, MA Sunny Days Daycare is opening a newly renovated, modern early learning center in Winthrop, MA, and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Founding Director to help build the center from the ground up. This is a unique leadership opportunity for someone who wants to create a warm, organized, high-quality child care experience for children, families, and teachers. Ideal for experienced Assistant Directors, Preschool Directors, Curriculum Coordinators, or Early Childhood Leaders ready for a founding leadership opportunity. We are seeking candidates who have all required certifications up to date and are authorized to work legally in the United States with valid Social Security documentation.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily center operations Ensure EEC compliance and licensing readiness Support, mentor, and guide teachers and staff Build a positive and professional team culture Oversee enrollment, parent communication, and family experience Maintain high standards for safety, organization, and classroom quality Help shape systems, processes, and center growth from day one
Qualifications:
EEC Director I or II certification (or ability to qualify) Prior experience in early childhood leadership Strong knowledge of Massachusetts EEC regulations Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfortable using technology and digital communication tools CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Passion for children, families, and team leadership
