In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and foster a positive atmosphere where children can thrive. Your leadership will inspire staff, engage families, and promote best practices in childhood development and care. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of the daycare center, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning Lead and support a team of teachers, caregivers, and support staff to deliver high-quality childcare and early childhood education Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations, safety protocols, and health standards Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, updates, and parent engagement initiatives Oversee staff training programs in classroom management, behavior management, first aid, and special education strategies Maintain accurate records related to child attendance, health information, incident reports, and licensing documentation Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Demonstrated leadership skills in managing childcare teams and classroom environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus Strong understanding of safety procedures, behavior management techniques, and caregiving practices Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with organization and professionalism CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field Join us as our Daycare Center Director to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while leading a dedicated team committed to excellence in early childhood care!
