St. Paul the Apostle Early Childhood Center is seeking a director to oversee the daily operations of the schools after-school care program and summer care programs. This is a year-round, part-time position working with students K-8th grade. We are looking for someone who will create a nurturing learning environment and has a passion for hands-on activities and inquiry-led learning. The director will be responsible for planning and implementing learning experiences in after-care and summer care that advance the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of our children within a Christ-centered, safe, and healthy learning environment. We are looking for someone who will collaborate with school leadership, staff, and families to create a program that reflects and supports the holistic development of each child. This is a grant-funded position.

Schedule School year:

(39 weeks) Monday Friday 2:00pm-6:00pm(start time may be flexible, up to 4:00pm, for candidates who also serve in a teaching role during the school day)

Summer:

(8 weeks) Starting June 8thMonday Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm Benefits-Employees will earn 1 hour of PTO for every 30 hours worked-Days off on school year planned breaks: 2 weeks Christmas, 1 week spring break, Fridays off in the summer, 1 week 4th of July, 3 days over Thanksgiving.
