Early Childhood Program Director Care Academy learning center Minneapolis, MN 55405 $22.50 - $28.00 an hour - Full-time $22.50 - $28.00 an hour - Full-time Overview Join us as an Early Childhood Program Director and lead the charge in creating vibrant, nurturing, and innovative learning environments for young children. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to shape early education programs that foster development, curiosity, and a love of learning. As a key leader, you will oversee curriculum implementation, staff management, community engagement, and strategic planning to ensure the highest quality of early childhood education. Your passion for working with young children and your leadership skills will inspire teams and positively impact families and communities. Duties Develop, implement, and evaluate engaging curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices Lead and supervise teaching staff, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance evaluations to promote professional growth Oversee daily program operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety protocols Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and coordinate fundraising efforts to support program sustainability and expansion Collaborate with families to foster strong relationships, address concerns, and promote family involvement in the educational process Lead strategic planning initiatives to enhance program quality, expand community partnerships, and increase outreach efforts Deliver public speaking engagements to advocate for early childhood education initiatives within the community Skills Extensive experience in curriculum development tailored for early childhood learners Proven success in fundraising activities to secure grants or community support for educational programs Strong strategic planning abilities to set long-term goals and implement effective action plans Budgeting expertise to manage financial resources efficiently while maintaining program excellence Demonstrated leadership in senior management roles within education administration or related fields Management skills including supervising staff, managing teams, and overseeing daily operations Experience working directly with young children in classroom settings and understanding developmental milestones Excellent public speaking skills to represent the program at community events or stakeholder meetings Supervising experience that emphasizes mentorship, team building, and staff development This position is a paid opportunity designed for passionate leaders committed to advancing early childhood education.
