Responsibilities Provide dynamic leadership and strategic direction for the entire child care center, aligning programs with organizational goals and community needs. Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that promote developmental milestones, creativity, and social-emotional learning. Manage the center's budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility while maintaining high-quality services and resources. Lead fundraising initiatives and cultivate partnerships with community organizations to support program sustainability and expansion. Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development to foster a motivated and skilled team. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and educational policies to maintain accreditation and operational excellence. Engage with parents, families, and community stakeholders through public speaking engagements, parent meetings, and outreach activities to build trust and transparency. Qualifications Proven experience in education administration or management within a child care or early childhood education setting. Strong background in curriculum development, classroom management, and working directly with young children. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff and managing teams effectively. Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking, community engagement, and collaborative teamwork. Knowledge of budgeting processes, strategic planning, fundraising strategies, and compliance requirements related to child care centers. Background in teaching or working directly with students is highly desirable. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
