In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure the highest standards of childcare and education, and foster a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Your leadership will inspire a team of dedicated educators, promote best practices in childhood development, and uphold safety and compliance standards. Duties Provide visionary leadership to the daycare team, setting clear goals and maintaining a motivating atmosphere Oversee daily classroom activities, ensuring they align with developmental milestones and educational best practices Manage staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to build a strong, cohesive team Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and health standards including first aid procedures Develop and implement curriculum plans that support early childhood education, including preschool, toddler care, infant care, and special education needs Foster positive relationships with children's families through regular communication and updates on their child's progress Monitor classroom environments for effective behavior management and create strategies for working with children with disabilities or special needs Qualifications Proven experience in early childhood education or daycare management, including classroom experience in preschool, toddler care, or infant care settings Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of educators while maintaining high standards of care Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and regulatory agencies Experience with classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and caregiving practices Familiarity with licensing requirements for daycare centers and experience ensuring compliance with safety standards Join us as our Director of Daycare to lead a vibrant team dedicated to nurturing young minds!
