Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Daycare Director to oversee the daily operations of our childcare center in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to staff, maintain compliance with New York State childcare regulations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and build strong relationships with families and the community. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day childcare center operations Supervise, train, and support teachers and staff Ensure compliance with OCFS licensing and safety regulations Maintain staff schedules, attendance, and performance evaluations Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs Foster positive communication with parents and families Oversee enrollment, budgeting, and center administration Maintain accurate child and staff records Support hiring, onboarding, and staff development Ensure classrooms maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred Minimum 2-3 years of childcare leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of New York State childcare regulations Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills CPR/First Aid Certification preferred Benefits Competitive salary Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Childcare discount (if applicable) Supportive work environment
