This role combines administrative leadership, staff supervision, and direct engagement with families and educators. You will serve as an OCFS-approved designee when the Director is absent and gain hands-on experience across all facets of school administration. Key Responsibilities Support the Director in daily site management, compliance, and staff scheduling. Serve as point of contact for staff, families, and licensing partners when needed. Maintain accurate records and assist with OCFS documentation and reporting. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring of teaching staff. Oversee classroom operations to ensure adherence to curriculum and safety standards. Collaborate on program planning, family communications, and community engagement. Participate in professional development and Director mentorship sessions. Qualifications Meets or is close to meeting OCFS Director qualification standards (education + experience). Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education , Child Development, or related field. Prior experience in early childhood teaching, administration, or site supervision. Up-to-date background check, medical clearance, and training certifications . Strong organizational and communication skills. Commitment to continuous learning and leadership growth.
