  • Full-time, Contract We are Foundational Services, LLC and we are assisting a nonprofit early childhood education program in Westchester County, New York.
We are conducting a confidential search for an Executive Director to lead the child care center/school.
The Executive Director will:
Oversee the overall administration and daily operations of the center, including supervision of programs, staff, and services for young children and their families Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing child care and early childhood education. Lead budgeting and fiscal oversight, support fundraising efforts, and cultivate strong community partnerships. Work closely with the Board of Directors on strategic planning, program quality, and long‑term sustainability. We are seeking an experienced, mission‑driven leader with: Significant background in early childhood education, child care, or a closely related field. Demonstrated management experience (staff supervision, operations, and budgeting) in a nonprofit, school, or human‑services setting. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with families, staff, and community partners. Ability to lead resource development efforts, including securing Federal Head Start/Early Head Start funding, State and county contracts, Grants and private philanthropy Because this search is confidential at this time, I would appreciate it if you would not post this publicly, but instead share it directly with individuals who may be qualified and interested.
