Job Description

The Goddard School of Grandview is seeking an Assistant Director to join our team! All candidates who wish to be considered for this position must have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in a childcare or early education administrative setting.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a childcare or early education administrative role Strong knowledge of childcare operations and licensing requirements Proven ability to lead, coach, and support a team of educators Passionate about early childhood education and the children and families we serve Positive, patient, and solutions-oriented demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills An Assistant Director's responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Support the Head of School in managing the daily operations of the school Assist with staff scheduling, family communications, and general school administration Support staff onboarding and ongoing performance development Help maintain compliance with licensing, health, and safety standards Manage classroom supplies, equipment upkeep, and facility needs Serve as a flexible, supportive presence across classrooms throughout the day Model best practices in classroom management and early childhood development Support teachers in delivering Goddard's play-based curriculum and educational philosophy Promote Goddard School's mission and uphold a code of ethical conduct Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities The Goddard School offers the following industry leading benefits: Competitive hourly pay based on qualifications and experience Paid Vacation & Holidays after 90 days (including the week between Christmas & New Year!) Continuing Education About The Goddard School:
The Goddard School is an early education and childcare center that offers programs for children ages twelve weeks to six years old. Our program focuses on building a love of learning through play-based education. Teachers and leaders at our school are career educators who work closely with our Head of School to create a program that prepares students to succeed in the classroom and beyond. The health and safety of our children, faculty, and staff is of the utmost importance to us.
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
