In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and foster a team committed to exceptional care and development. Your leadership will inspire staff, engage families, and promote best practices in childhood development, classroom management, and inclusive caregiving. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives while managing a dynamic team dedicated to early childhood education excellence. Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the daycare center, ensuring compliance with licensing standards and safety protocols. Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance on classroom management, behavior management, and curriculum implementation. Develop and implement age-appropriate programs that promote early childhood education, preschool activities, toddler care, infant care, and special education needs. Foster positive relationships with children and families by maintaining open communication and addressing individual needs. Oversee staff recruitment, training—including first aid certification—and ongoing professional development in childhood development and working with children with disabilities. Ensure a clean, safe, engaging environment that encourages learning through play and exploration. Manage administrative tasks such as enrollment procedures, record keeping, compliance documentation, and scheduling. Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, classroom experience, and childcare best practices. Proven leadership skills with experience in classroom management and supervising childcare staff. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, staff, and community partners. Ability to handle behavior management challenges with patience and professionalism. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable. Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional qualifications in childhood development or nannying are a plus. Demonstrated ability to nurture young children through caregiving activities such as babysitting or nannying across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
