Our goal is to provide an atmosphere that encourages tenderness, peace, and love in supporting children and families. Our curriculum is designed to focus on the developmental needs of children ages five months through 10 years. The Daycare Director is responsible for the daily operation of the child care facility in accordance with state licensing regulations and operating policies. The Director will help oversee the curriculum, market the program, manage personnel, and maintain high standards of excellence in child care. In addition, the Director is responsible for managing the administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility. Duties Manage day-to-day operations of the daycare. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, disciplinary issues, etc. to ensure that the daycare is running safely. Oversee and maintain all aspects of compliance to ensure that the building, staff, and programs meet all state requirements. Coordinate with FBC Board of Directors on all issues pertaining to personnel, finances, maintenance, facilities, and grounds. Prepare and maintain the budget in conjunction with the Board of Directors. Responsible for collecting tuition, recovering late fees, and purchasing materials, food, curriculum, etc. Ensure that the daycare complies with all reporting requirements for children and families attending the daycare. Ensure that all staff, volunteer, and children files are complete and updated annually. Recruit and train qualified, caring, and Christian teachers for the daycare. Maintain staffing levels at the daycare to ensure a safe working and learning environment. Oversee and maintain child safety policies and procedures. Train all staff in child safety protocols and state licensing regulations. Coordinate all required trainings. Maintain an up-to-date database with background checks, incident reports, training certificates, and all documentation as required. Coordinate a Christian Education-based curriculum for the daycare. Our goal at the daycare is to help each child to grow both educationally and spiritually. Oversee the curriculum to ensure that each class is teaching a Christ-centered and Bible-directed lesson. Coordinate with the daycare's financial consultant in all financial matters. Maintain regular contact with families and staff of the daycare. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred; minimum of Associate's degree required. At least three to five years' experience in a licensed child care facility. Requires experience supervising teachers and day care employees. Must hold or apply for a Director's license and meet all state qualifications for classroom teaching positions. Requires knowledge and understanding of all current state and local regulations. Certified in Child/Infant CPR and First Aid. Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to transport children in a company bus. Must have proficient computer skills in a variety of business-related programs, including Microsoft Office. Requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and react to emergency situations timely. Must be able to stand and stoop for long periods of time.
Vacation time:
