Early Childhood Education Full Job Description Overview:
Bright Start Child Care Center has proudly served children and families in our community for over 30 years. We are seeking an experienced child care professional to facilitate the daily operations of the center, ensure compliance with Ohio licensing requirements, support staff development, maintain quality standards and family partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Build positive relationships with our children, families and community partners. Provide leadership and supervision to all center staff. Coordinate professional development opportunities for staff. Manage family concerns and maintain excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with DCY licensing regulations. Manage enrollment, attendance and child records. Maintain and support Step Up To Quality and Head Start standards. Hire, onboard, train and evaluate staff. Create and maintain staff schedules and classroom ratios.
Qualifications:
An Associates or Bachelor Degree in child development, early childhood education or related field. Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a licensed child care setting. Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills. Experience with family engagement and staff development. Proficient using Creative Curriculum and Gold.
