Position Overview The Director of Education is a key leadership role responsible for curriculum excellence, instructional quality, and overall program success. Reporting to the School Owners and partnering with the Director of Operations, this leader ensures strong implementation of the Wonder of Learning® curriculum, alignment with Oklahoma Early Learning Guidelines, NAEYC standards, and QRIS expectations, and the use of data to drive meaningful child outcomes. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Program Quality Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the Wonder of Learning® curriculum Ensure alignment with Oklahoma Early Learning Guidelines, NAEYC, and QRIS standards Partner with leadership to maintain excellence in education, staff performance, and family experience Support the development of policies and systems to ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery Staff Leadership & Development Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate teaching staff Provide ongoing professional development focused on play-based learning and instructional best practices Conduct performance evaluations and support continuous growth Foster a collaborative, positive school culture Family & Community Engagement Build strong relationships with families through clear, proactive communication Provide parent education resources and support Address concerns with professionalism and care Represent the school in the community to support growth and enrollment Curriculum & Assessment Oversee Core Advantage assessments and use data to guide instruction Monitor child progress and ensure developmentally appropriate practices Maintain engaging, safe, and compliant classroom environments Collaborate on resources and environments that support learning excellence
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field 6+ years in early childhood education, including 3+ years in leadership Oklahoma Director's Credential Strong knowledge of play-based learning, curriculum implementation, and early learning standards Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience driving staff development and program improvement
Preferred:
