Responsibilities:
  • Work with classroom teacher to provide an environment where students grow spiritually, academically, and socially.
  • Provide care for students after school hours
  • Provide homework assistance
  • Maintain a positive and supportive environment
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in tutoring, babysitting, childcare, or related fields
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques
  • Familiarity with childhood development
  • Ability to work with students of various ages and skill levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • First aid certification is a plus Assumption BVM School is looking to hire a dynamic candidate who can assume the role of Pre-K 4 Classroom Aide during school hours (11:30
  • 2:00) and DHS Group Supervisor after school hours (2:00
  • 5:30) in the CARES program.
The CARES program requires someone who has a bachelor's degree in early childhood or elementary education or at least 30 hours of early childhood experience, child development, special education, elementary education or human services field and experience working with children.
