Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Center Director to lead a well-established private preschool campus with full enrollment and a strong existing team in place. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced childcare leader who thrives in a high-performing environment and is passionate about creating an exceptional experience for children, families, and teachers. Position Overview The Preschool Center Director is responsible for the overall leadership, daily operations, culture, compliance, and educational excellence of the school. This leader will work closely with executive leadership to maintain high standards for customer experience, curriculum implementation, staff engagement, and operational excellence. Our ideal candidate is a strong leader, excellent communicator, highly organized, and committed to maintaining a warm, professional, and positive school culture. Responsibilities Lead and inspire a team of teachers and support staff Maintain a positive, professional, and welcoming school culture Ensure exceptional customer service for families and prospective families Oversee daily school operations and licensing compliance Support implementation of curriculum programs and enrichment activities Conduct classroom walkthroughs and coaching conversations Maintain strong relationships with families and community partners Monitor quality assurance, safety standards, and operational procedures Support staff development, retention, and performance management Ensure classrooms remain organized, engaging, and developmentally appropriate Partner with executive leadership on enrollment, events, and school initiatives Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and company standards Foster a school environment centered around professionalism, teamwork, and excellence Qualifications Previous childcare management or Preschool Director experience required Experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Passion for early childhood education and child development Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of childcare licensing standards and compliance requirements Experience with childcare management software preferred CDA, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred CPR/First Aid Certification preferred What We Offer Competitive salary Bonus opportunities Established, fully enrolled school Supportive leadership team Professional development opportunities Positive and professional work environment Paid time off Childcare tuition discount Opportunity for long-term career growth About the Opportunity This position is ideal for a strong leader who enjoys maintaining excellence, supporting teachers, building relationships with families, and leading a successful preschool program with an established foundation already in place.
