Childcare Director (Operations and Leadership Focus)

About This Role We are looking for a strong, hands on leader to help run the day to day operations of our childcare center. This is a leadership position focused on supporting staff, maintaining high standards, and keeping the day running smoothly. You will play a key role in both the culture of our team and the consistency of our operations. If you enjoy being in the middle of the action, supporting teachers in real time, and creating structure that helps a team succeed, this could be a great fit. What You'll Be Doing This is not a sit behind a desk role. You will be actively present throughout the center each day.

You will:

Support educators in classrooms and step in when needed Help navigate behavior and high stress moments with confidence Hold staff accountable to expectations in a clear and respectful way Oversee daily operations, staffing, and classroom flow Communicate with families and handle concerns professionally Ensure systems and routines are followed consistently Identify problems early and take initiative to solve them You are part of the team and present in the work, not removed from it. You will spend time in classrooms supporting staff You will be part of real time problem solving and decision making You will be expected to help maintain both culture and consistency If you are looking for a role that is fully office based or removed from the day to day classroom environment, this likely will not be the right fit.
