Job Description

Vision and Leadership Hope Academy is looking for more than a manager. We are looking for a visionary Christian school leader who can help us grow spiritually, academically, relationally, and numerically. The right Preschool Director / Early Childhood Director / Child Care Director will be able to step into an existing school, understand what is already strong, identify what needs to be improved, and help create a clear plan for growth. This leader should be able to strengthen our early childhood development program, support teachers, build parent trust, grow enrollment, and help Hope Academy become better known in the Virginia Beach community. We are looking for someone who can help answer important questions such as: How can Hope Academy reach more children and families with the love of Jesus? How can we grow our infant, toddler, preschool, kindergarten, after-school, and summer programs? How can we strengthen our reputation as a trusted Christian preschool and early childhood education program? How can we develop a stronger, more joyful, more accountable staff culture? How can we build deeper relationships with parents and become a school families are excited to recommend? How can we combine excellent childcare, strong preschool leadership, early childhood development, biblical teaching, and joyful Christian ministry? The ideal candidate will bring both vision and follow-through . We need someone who can dream, plan, organize, communicate, and execute. A great idea is wonderful — but a great idea with a calendar, a checklist, a staff plan, and parent communication is even better. This role is for a leader who can say, "There is real potential here — now let's build."
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
