You must meet the qualifications to be a Center Director as stated in Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards. Center Director Include:
Operate center in compliance with Child Care Licensing Standards and Texas Rising Star Standards. Operate center in accordance with company budgetary guidelines to ensure the financial success and profitability of the company. Hiring, supervising, and training staff to create a cohesive daycare team environment. Schedules and supervises all child care center functions in accordance with Little Tyke's policies, procedures, and rules. Oversees all center assets such as equipment, building, buses, money, and supplies. Answers phone, conducts phone tour inquiries, conducts in-person tours of the center, interviews parents, and enrolls children in the center. Operates child care center computer using center management software. Ensures low accounts receivable by collecting tuition payments in a timely manner. Prepares and maintains all records and reports in a timely and accurate manner. Presents a professional appearance and example to staff, parents, and community. Attends all administrative meetings Oversees CCS enrollment and reporting Oversees all aspects of USDA Food Program administration Applicants must be qualified to be a center director with HHSC in accordance with Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards for Day Care Centers.
