Must be familiar with Abeka curriculum and having taught that curriculum would be a plus. Must have an Associates degree in Early Childhood, a CDA, or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. Pay based on experience in childcare pre k classroom. Must undergo background check, medical exam and TB screening. Will consider individual with proper (3+ years in the same Pre K classroom) experience that does not have a degree. Must have required 12 hours of Health and Safety Training as required by DHR. Must have required 12 hours of ongoing training as required by DHR. Must have CPR and First Aid certification. $16/hr for new CDA holder, $16
  • 18/hour for associates degree in early childhood development with experience in the classroom. Pay scale based on classroom experience. $18
  • 20/hour for BA in Early Childhood Education pay scale based on classroom experience. Will consider a qualified teacher who would prefer to work part time only. Responsibilities
  • Create engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
  • Manage a classroom of young children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive learning experiences.
  • Assess student progress.
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance the overall learning environment.
