Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire a love of learning while ensuring each child's individual needs are met through thoughtful lesson planning and classroom management. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, early intervention strategies, and foundational skills in math and physical education. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction among children. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and transitions to ensure smooth operations. Support children's developmental milestones by applying knowledge of childhood development principles and special education techniques when needed. Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to communicate progress, address concerns, and tailor educational approaches to individual children. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instructional strategies. Maintain detailed records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with childcare regulations. Skills Strong background in early childhood education with experience in preschool or daycare settings. Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention practices, and behavior management strategies. Proficiency in working with children across different age groups including toddlers and preschoolers. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies such as literacy education or physical education is a plus. Ability to adapt teaching approaches based on individual student needs while maintaining a positive learning environment.
