SUPERVISED BY
(TITLE): Early Childhood Director Job Summary The Early Childhood Learning Center Floater is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the learning center by transporting groups of children to and from extracurricular activities and providing classroom ratio support throughout the day. This role helps ensure programs run smoothly by assisting with supervision, transitions, staffing coverage, and daily classroom needs while creating a safe, positive, and engaging experience for children. The Floater plays an important role in supporting the overall success of the center through flexibility, teamwork, and strong child supervision. Key Responsibilities Supervising and transporting groups of children to and from extracurricular activities and enrichment programs Providing classroom ratio support throughout the day Assisting teachers with activities, supervision, transitions, and daily routines Helping maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for all children Supporting multiple classrooms and programs as needed Education, Training, and Experience High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience in athletics programming or coaching. Experience working with children preferred Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Ability to remain flexible and adapt throughout the day Strong supervision and communication skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children in an age-appropriate manner Physical Demands Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods of time Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a variety of environments, including outdoor conditions such as heat, humidity, cold, and rain Ability to stay active and engaged throughout the workday
Compensation:
$15/hour
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
