This vibrant role involves creating a nurturing classroom environment where children develop essential social, emotional, and cognitive skills. As a Pre-K Teacher, you will implement engaging lesson plans, foster a love for learning, and support each child's individual growth through innovative teaching methods. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong success in a dynamic and supportive educational setting. Duties Develop and execute age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood development, literacy education, math skills, and physical activity. Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction among preschoolers. Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive space for all children. Plan and deliver lessons aligned with early intervention principles, special education needs, and Montessori or other educational philosophies as appropriate. Use effective behavior management techniques to support children's emotional regulation and social skills development. Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about child welfare, progress, and classroom activities. Assess student progress through observations, standardized testing where applicable, and formative assessments to tailor instruction effectively. Incorporate activities that promote physical education, arts, music, and basic science concepts to foster holistic development. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student achievements, behavior notes, and classroom supplies. Support children with diverse needs by adapting lessons for special education requirements or early intervention programs. Experience Prior classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or private school settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with children requiring special education services or early intervention programs is advantageous. Familiarity with literacy education strategies, standardized testing procedures for young learners, and Montessori methods is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff. Previous experience in toddler care or preschool environments that emphasize child welfare and developmental milestones is beneficial. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is desirable; ongoing professional development in teaching physical education or tutoring is encouraged.
