Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead a preschool classroom by creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic educator who values collaboration, fosters positive relationships with children and families, and is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and learning experiences. Create a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom environment that promotes exploration and independence. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Foster school readiness through hands-on, play-based learning experiences. Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress. Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom activities and children's growth. Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with assistant teachers and classroom support staff. Maintain classroom records and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and center events. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting required . Previous experience as a Lead Teacher or in a classroom leadership role preferred . Strong understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices . Excellent communication, leadership, classroom management, and organizational skills. Preferred Skills Experience developing and implementing preschool curriculum. Strong classroom management and positive behavior guidance techniques. Ability to lead a classroom while fostering a collaborative team environment. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
