Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced and nurturing Lead Teacher - Toddlers to guide a classroom of young learners in our early childhood program. This role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that supports toddlers' growth across all areas. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education , confident in classroom leadership , and skilled in building strong relationships with children, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for toddlers. Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment . Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development . Manage daily routines , including meals, diapering, and nap schedules. Observe and document developmental milestones and progress . Communicate regularly with families regarding children's development and classroom updates . Supervise and guide assistant teachers or support staff . Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health, and safety standards . Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required (ECE coursework or degree preferred). Experience working with toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting required . Previous experience in a lead teacher or classroom leadership role preferred . Strong knowledge of child development and play-based learning . Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills . Preferred Skills Experience developing and implementing toddler curriculum . Strong classroom management and team leadership abilities . Ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment . CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
