Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Toddler Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire curiosity and growth! Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development in toddlers. Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and play activities with patience and enthusiasm. Use effective behavior management strategies to guide positive interactions and address challenges constructively. Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and support at-home learning initiatives. Incorporate principles of Montessori and other early childhood education philosophies to enhance learning experiences. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's development and participate in ongoing assessments aligned with standardized testing requirements. Skills Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, especially with toddlers. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early intervention and special education. Skilled in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Familiarity with Montessori methods, literacy education strategies, and teaching physical education activities for young children. Ability to adapt lessons for children with diverse needs including those requiring special education support. Experience with childcare regulations, child welfare standards, and maintaining a safe classroom environment.
