Childcare Worker

Responsibilities Deliver high-quality childcare tailored to the individual needs of children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Support children's learning through play, educational activities, and classroom management strategies that encourage curiosity and independence. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise. Maintain detailed records of daily activities, developmental milestones, and behavioral observations. Assist with feeding, diapering, nap times, and other routine care tasks while demonstrating patience and understanding. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies. Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes safety, learning, and fun. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within a dynamic childcare setting.
