Position Summary:
The certified pre-kindergarten teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment for learning and kindergarten preparation. This position leads a classroom of no more than 15 students and delivers high-quality instructed aligned with Arkansas Early Learning Standards while integrating values, social-emotional development, and reading readiness skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about art, science, and early childhood education while being committed to academic excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and implement engaging daily lesson plans in alignment with state standards Deliver developmentally appropriate instruction Integrate STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and music) throughout lesson planning Utilize hands-on learning experiences Conduct ongoing and formative assessments Engage with families and build positive relationships Participate in conferences, parent nights, and continuing education Respond promptly and professionally to parent questions and concerns Maintain compliance with all school and state policies Collaborate with administrators, support staff, and other teachers
Required Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field Current Arkansas Teaching License (P-4, K-6, or equivalent)
