Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and collaborative Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role is responsible for creating a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children . The Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher oversees daily classroom operations, guides and mentors teaching staff, and implements a curriculum that supports each child's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Responsibilities:
Lead and reinforce the implementation of daily classroom schedules and routines Supervise, mentor, and train teacher aides; provide guidance to teachers with limited experience Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones and individual needs Use a variety of instructional strategies to engage infants in meaningful learning experiences Provide individualized support for children with diverse learning needs, including those on the autism spectrum Observe and monitor developmental progress; adjust teaching strategies as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program quality and consistency Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and caregivers regarding child progress and classroom activities Qualifications Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Experience working with young children, including those with autism spectrum disorder Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and effective classroom management Strong understanding of early childhood development principles Proficiency in early learning technology, basic math concepts, and physical education activities Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Ability to lead a cohesive teaching team and maintain a positive classroom culture Joining our team as a Lead Infant Teacher offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students while further developing your teaching skills.
