Preschool Teacher

KidsCorp is seeking a Preschool Teacher for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age. We are an Early Intervention Day Treatment (EIDT) facility and provide on-site Physical, Occupational, Speech and ABA Therapies as well as Developmental Education and Pre-K readiness. (KidsCorpdt.com) This position has shift hours of Monday through Friday 7 am to 4 pm. No weekends or evenings!

Responsibilities:

• Implement age-appropriate curriculum for children in the classroom
• Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive and safe learning environment
• Provide individualized attention and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and other relevant information

Skills:

• Strong behavior management skills to effectively handle challenging situations in the classroom
• Experience in curriculum development and the ability to create engaging educational materials
• Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Experience in toddler care, preschool, or daycare settings, helping children with their ADLS.
• Proficiency in literacy education to promote language development and reading skills
• Understanding of childhood development stages and the ability to tailor instruction accordingly

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passed background checks and drug testing required.
