Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm for childhood development and dedication to fostering a safe, inclusive space will inspire young minds and support their developmental milestones. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth in accordance with early childhood education standards. Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's individual needs are met through personalized lesson planning. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and respectful learning environment. Support children's development through activities focused on childhood development milestones, special education needs, and early intervention strategies. Facilitate classroom management by organizing materials, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom activities. Incorporate Montessori methods and other educational philosophies to enrich learning experiences and foster independence. Qualifications Prior classroom experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is a plus. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, tutoring methods, and teaching physical education activities for young children. Demonstrated understanding of childhood development stages and child welfare practices. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or Montessori methods is advantageous.
