The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. This role involves implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering social and emotional development, and supporting early learning milestones. Candidates should have a strong background in childhood development and classroom management, with a commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive space for all students. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with preschool standards and curriculum goals, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to schedules Assess individual student progress through observations and standardized testing; adjust teaching strategies accordingly Support children's emotional well-being by applying behavior management techniques and fostering positive relationships Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and address individual needs Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques when necessary Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and lesson plans Ensure compliance with safety regulations, child welfare policies, and licensing requirements Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and early intervention strategies Experience with curriculum development across various subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Proven classroom management skills to create an organized and nurturing learning environment Ability to design engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental stages Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and children Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings; private school experience is a plus Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for early learners Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for young children Ability to incorporate inclusive practices supporting child welfare and special needs students Passion for early childhood education with a focus on fostering curiosity, independence, and social skills This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives by providing quality early childhood education in a supportive environment.
