Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to stimulate early childhood development. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization to ensure a productive learning experience. Support children's emotional and social growth through positive reinforcement, conflict resolution, and fostering respectful communication. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss developmental progress, share insights on child welfare, and address individual needs such as special education or early intervention programs. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instructional strategies. Incorporate teaching physical education and hands-on activities to promote motor skills development and overall health. Experience Prior classroom management experience in early childhood education or preschool settings is essential. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and working with children of diverse backgrounds. Experience with toddler care, childcare practices, and daycare environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development theories such as Montessori principles or early intervention techniques enhances effectiveness. Strong communication skills are necessary for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, tutoring techniques for young learners, and literacy education methods is preferred. Previous private school experience or work within preschool programs that emphasize childhood wellness and behavior management will be advantageous.
