Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire growth, curiosity, and a love for learning. In this dynamic role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters childhood development and supports early intervention strategies. Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and working with children will help lay the foundation for lifelong success. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning tailored to preschoolers' developmental stages Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence through effective classroom management and behavior management techniques. Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations, and ongoing documentation to inform instruction and communicate with parents or guardians Ensure child welfare by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom adhering to childcare regulations and best practices in daycare settings Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies, participate in professional development opportunities related to childhood development, literacy education, and classroom management Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior private school experience is a plus Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and behavior management techniques Familiarity with curriculum development tools including Montessori methods and lesson planning strategies Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a positive learning environment Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields; additional training in literacy education or teaching physical education is advantageous Passionate about nurturing young learners' growth across all developmental domains including social-emotional skills, cognitive abilities, and physical health. Pay:
$15.15 - $17.00 per hour
