Preschool assitant

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. As a Preschool AssistantTeacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through engaging activities and structured learning experiences. Duties Implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy education, physical education, and overall childhood development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior positively and constructively. Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to support child welfare and family engagement. Assess children's progress regularly and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Incorporate Montessori principles where applicable to enhance hands-on learning experiences. Organize activities that promote social skills, creativity, and critical thinking. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, relevant certifications in preschool education are a plus. Experience in daycare settings or teaching preschool-aged children is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices. Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for preschool learners. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the community. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth in a caring environment. Spanish is a plus.
