This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a preschool environment and is comfortable supporting both kitchen operations and classroom needs when necessary. The primary responsibility is preparing healthy meals and snacks for children, maintaining kitchen organization, and supporting classroom coverage as a floater when needed. Responsibilities Prepare and serve daily lunches and snacks for preschool children Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen Follow all CDSS Community Care Licensing regulations and requirements Order food and kitchen supplies Monitor inventory and ensure proper food storage Follow health and safety regulations for food preparation Assist in classrooms as a floater when needed Support teachers and supervise children appropriately Maintain a positive and professional attitude with staff, children, and familiesRequirements Minimum 12 ECE units required Ability to step into classrooms as a floater when needed Current CPR/First Aid Certification Current Mandated Reporter Training Certificate Current Food Handler Certificate Experience working with children preferred Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Training On-site training will be provided during the first 2 weeks

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
