  • $22 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Referral program Retirement plan Qualifications Student supervision CPR Certification Teaching Certification Education First Aid Certification Early Childhood Education Full Job Description We are currently looking for a self-motivated individual who has a positive, loving and caring attitude to join us as a preschool teacher, to take care of the students aged between 4•5 years old.
This position requires the following:
Minimum of 15 required Early Child Development units (Bachelor's degree in Education or related field or teaching credential preferred). Life Scan Clearance First Aid and Pediatric CPR certificate Child Development Certificate T.B and Health Clearance Able to meet mandated reporter training requirements Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have minimal absences Able to sit on the floor, squat down to child's eye level, and lift up to50 lbs. Be capable of caring for a large group of children alone in a classroom Responsibilities
  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for pre-k students that adhere to the curriculum guidelines. You will be required to finish your own lesson plan based on school curriculum, including but not limited to prepare work sheets, arts and crafts ideas, science activity ideas, social study ideas.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the classroom.
  • Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Assess students' progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
  • Utilize classroom management techniques to promote a positive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, grades, and behavior

  • Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Patience and empathy to support students through their learning journey
  • Knowledge of educational technology tools to enhance teaching methods
