In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary goal will be to foster early development through age-appropriate activities, personalized care, and positive interactions that support each child's growth in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while working within a collaborative and supportive educational community. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, including literacy education, motor skills, and social-emotional growth. Provide attentive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate play-based learning and sensory activities tailored to infants' developmental stages. Manage classroom routines effectively, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and age-appropriate discipline strategies. Collaborate with families to share progress updates, address concerns, and support consistent developmental goals. Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, behavior management strategies, and individualized care plans aligned with early intervention principles. Uphold standards of child welfare and safety by adhering to licensing regulations and best practices in childcare and preschool environments. Qualifications Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting. ECE units and Infant/Toddler units CPR Certified preferred Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to infants and toddlers. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience with special education needs or early intervention programs is a plus. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is desirable Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes physical activity, literacy education, math readiness, and social skills development.
