Child Care Assistant

Child Care Assistant Needed-PartTIme Early Memories Child Care Barstow, CA Early Memories Child Care is currently seeking a reliable, caring, and motivated Childcare Assistant to join our team! We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children in a safe, nurturing, and professional child care environment.

Position Details:

• Part-Time Position
• Monday - Friday

Hours:

1:30 PM - 6:30 PM

• Hours may vary depending on childcare needs and scheduling

Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older by the time of hire
• Background Check Clearance
• DMV print out
• Drug Test
• CPR Certification
• Health and Safety Certification
• Mandated Reporter Certification
• TB Test Clearance
• Must sign an Employee Confidentiality & Privacy Agreement
• Spanish speaking is a plus Reimbursement for approved pre-employment expenses will be provided only after the applicant has successfully completed all required hiring screenings, met employment eligibility requirements and begins active employment with Early Memories Child Care.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Assisting with daily childcare routines
• Supervising children in a safe, and positive environment
• Helping with meals, activities, and clean up
• Maintaining professionalism with children and parents
• Occasional transporting of children to and from school
• Following California childcare licensing regulations and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and school age children Preferred
• Dependable and punctual
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

$16.90 - $17.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
