Job Description

Didici Daycare is seeking a passionate, experienced Infant-Toddler Teacher to support the program and oversee daily center operations as an Assistant Director. Their position will be working closely with the Director and sharing responsibility in fostering a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for our young learners to engage in bilingual (Mandarin-English) activities in a Montessori-inspired classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring licensing compliance and smooth operations in the classrooms through schedule management, policy reminders, and enrollment support. Maintain classroom environments well-stocked and organized. Implement new programs and supervise operational improvements. In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director serves as Director-in-Charge, assuming full responsibility for daily operations as administrative support. Actively communicate with parents & families during drop-off and pick-up, events, conferences, and special programs. Recruiting and mentor new staff to model best practices in child guidance and professionalism.
Compensations:
$25-30/hr + monthly bonus. $200/month for stepping into the Assistant Director role and supporting daily operations. $400/month as you begin running things more independently and mentoring staff. $600/month when you're fully comfortable acting as Director-in-Charge and supporting licensing and compliance. Paid sick days, federal holidays, winter & summer breaks.
Requirements:
Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred but not required. At least 12 ECE credits. 2+ years of working experience at daycare or Infant/Toddler center setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable starting conversations with local families and addressing parent questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
